I met Virginia Scheuer in Omaha, and I knew right away I needed her back on the show. She's the founder of Soulpreneurs and SoulSoftware, and everything she teaches comes from a place most founders skip past: her own body telling her to stop.

The Wall That Broke Her Open

Virginia scaled her first business the way most of us are taught to — hustle, grind, no pain no gain. It worked, until it didn't. She developed an autoimmune disease, and her doctor gave her two options: steroids for the rest of her life, or cut the stress. "The only way out of that autoimmune disease," she told me, "was either be on steroids for the rest of your life, or cut your stress."

That choice became Soulpreneurs. Not a rebrand. A rebuild.

The Wicked Wall

Out of that experience, Virginia built a framework she calls the Wicked Wall — not wicked as in evil, wicked as in "you're about to hit your next level." It's an acronym: Worry, Immobilization, Conflict, Kryptonite, Emergencies, Deflection. For Virginia, the wall showed up most often as injury — she once sprained her ankle when her home trampoline literally broke underneath her mid-workout. But the biggest one, she told me, was conflict. She built a thriving six-figure community, hit conflict she didn't know how to navigate as a leader, and self-destructed the whole thing rather than face it.

I think about this constantly with the founders I work with. The wall isn't random. It's information. When you know your pattern, you stop being blindsided by it.

Why the Funnel Is Exhausting You

Virginia and I talked about what she calls the infinity funnel — a direct response to the traditional sales funnel, which she describes as constantly needing more people poured in at the top just to get a few out the bottom. Her model replaces that one-way flow with something circular: she shows up as a light, people connect, and the relationship keeps expanding outward instead of narrowing down and forgetting about everyone once they convert.

This is the thing I keep coming back to with my own clients. When you build your business around who you're serving instead of how many people you can funnel through, the whole thing works differently. It stops feeling like a machine you have to keep feeding.

What Actually Changes at Seven Figures

I asked Virginia what shifted for her scaling from six to seven figures, and her answer has stuck with me since we recorded. "I stopped thinking about how I was showing up, and more about who I was showing up for." That's the real shift. It's not about working harder. It's about whose problem you're solving, and staying that clear on it.
